Autogenic Training – the self-directed way to good health and well-being

Do you want to make a positive difference to your own health and well-being?

Do you suffer from:

  • anxiety / panic attacks

  • sleep problems

  • fatigue / low energy

  • poor concentration

  • migraine / headaches

  • irritable bowel syndrome

  • any condition/symptom made worse by stress

If your answer to any of the above is ‘YES’, then read on. There is something you can do about it.

Help yourself to health

You can learn to take care of yourself - for life

Stress

Did you know that around 70% of GP consultations are about stress-related symptoms? But do you know what to do about it?
There is nothing wrong with stress. Without it you wouldn’t get up in the morning. In normal circumstances you can cope with most things life throws at you in a positive way: getting through the bad times, sometimes leaning on family and friends for extra support.
However, when stress is unremitting, and overwhelming, then DI-stress takes over, and this can adversely affect your physical and emotional health.

Autogenic Training (AT)

You can learn to use your own inner resources to improve your health and quality of life.
Originated nearly 100 years ago by German medical doctors, AT is a method of good quality relaxation – well-tested and documented, with sound common sense and therapeutic understanding supporting it. You learn the method and give yourself your own treatment.

Testimonials

“I have learned how to ‘be still at will’, and without knowing how it happened I have been more relaxed and generally happier... and organised myself to have more FUN!”

PW 2008

“As a busy teacher, I was very worried about the forthcoming Ofsted inspection. Using AT reduced my anxiety levels and increased my confidence. I decided I had nothing to worry about, and consequently was much more effective in my performance.”

PG 1999

"AT has brought many changes in my life. I feel calmer ... more in control, and sleeping well. Thank you so much and may you long continue to have such a positive effect.”
