Helping people help themselves

A specialist in short-term self-help since 1983, I trained as an autogenic therapist with the late Dr Wolfgang Luthe (a leading researcher of AT).

As a Founder Member of the British Autogenic Society, I have served on its Executive Committee for many years. I am a tutor and supervisor on the BAS Diploma professional training courses.

I run AT courses in private practice, the workplace and complementary health centres, and occasionally in the NHS.

I work with all age groups. I believe that each person has the power to make profound changes in life, using simple strategies to change attitudes and old habits.  My aim is to help people help themselves to improve their well-being, and gain insight for personal growth and development.

My style is to allow the client’s process of change with positive encouragement and gentle challenge in a supportive and safe setting.

Corporate stress management

I have worked with AT in companies, and markedly reduced absentee levels.

“This course was so uplifting and positive, although at times it was necessary to deal with difficult things .... I feel stronger and more positive, and ... am nicer to be with!”

“I would not hesitate to recommend AT – and you personally, with your reassuring, light but professional approach - to anyone who finds it hard to relax, both in mind and body.”
